In his mind He can hear evil laughter, The laughter is from That of his father. Random beatings Are all he knows. He doesn\'t have a mother, For his father\'s violent blows. This story is sad, But had to be told. What makes it even sadder, Is the \"he\" is a three year-old.

Who will pick up the pieces, When she is kicked around? The force behind it is so hard, She is knocked to the ground. Who will pick up the pieces, Once the punch is thrown? The blow is the hardest, She has ever known. Who will pick up the pieces, When she lands unconcious? The man does not feel guilty, He has nothing on his conscience. Who will pick up the pieces, Once the gun has been shot? The man walks freely, Grieving, he is not. Who will pick up the pieces, After her life is gone? Her family lives in mourning, And the man thinks he has won.

It is obvious you weren\'t meant to be, But why did you not want to stay with me? I know the time and place wasn\'t right, But these thoughts do not comfort me at night. You see, my real feelings are deep within my heart, The truth is, I wish we never had to part. Thinking and dreaming is all that I do, The tears that fall are because of you. Why you left, I will never know, But now I feel just so alone. I know one day we will again be together, We will be reunited and happy forever.

Why is there so much evil in the world? Everyone is born innocent. It is the incidents that occur in an individuals life that makes them who there are. Everyone is born innocent. So why is there so much evil in the world?
